Terms of service

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Happily Bored, a trading name of TF Ecommerce Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16807181. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at info@happilybored.com. These terms apply to every purchase made through this website. By placing an order you agree to them.

2. Our products

We sell digital content: ebooks, guides and printable resources supplied as PDF downloads. We don’t sell physical products. Nothing is posted to you.

3. Who can buy

You must be 18 or over to buy from us. Our products are for use by adults; children are the subject of the content, not the buyer.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken in full at the time of order through the payment providers available at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes won’t affect an order you’ve already placed. Where a price is shown as reduced, the comparison price is one we have charged or intend to charge; we don’t display invented “was” prices.

5. Placing an order

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send your order confirmation and download email. If there’s a pricing error, a payment problem or any other reason we can’t fulfil the order, we’ll tell you and refund anything you’ve paid.

6. Digital content and your right to cancel

Our products are digital content, delivered by download straight after you pay. Whatever your statutory right to cancel, you also have our 60-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee, which gives you longer to change your mind. See our Refund Policy.

7. Faulty content

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn’t, you’re entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that doesn’t work, a refund. Email us at info@happilybored.com and we’ll put it right.

8. Your licence to use the content

When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content within your own household. You can download it to your own devices, print it for your own family and share it with the other adults who care for your child (a partner, grandparents, a childminder).

You can’t sell it, give it away, post it online, share it in groups or forums, or use it to create or sell anything else. All copyright and other rights stay with Happily Bored.

9. What our content is, and what it isn’t

Our products are general parenting information and practical ideas. They are not medical, psychological, educational or professional advice, and we are not a healthcare or advice service.

Every child is different. We can’t promise any particular result, and you’re responsible for deciding what’s right for your family. If you’re worried about your child’s behaviour, sleep, development, mental health or wellbeing, please speak to your GP, health visitor or another qualified professional. Nothing in our content should delay you doing so.

10. Accounts and your details

You’re responsible for giving us a correct email address at checkout and for keeping your download link private. We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Otherwise, our liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We’re not responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable to both of us when you placed the order, or for losses that arise from how you choose to apply the content.

12. Reviews and testimonials

If you send us feedback, you agree we can use it in our marketing with your first name only, unless you tell us otherwise. We’ll never attribute words to you that you didn’t write.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we can’t resolve a problem between us, you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.
